Braided from high quality dusted asbestos yarns reinforced by metal wire, and impregnated with graphite and PTFE impregnation.
The normal reinforcing material selected is stainless steel wire, which is of good performance and cost effective. It could also be nickel wire, or brass wire etc on special requirements.
Application:
TP 003 G
Designed for dynamic sealing applications. Used as stuffing in pumps (especially boiler feed pumps) and valves. Resistant to alkaline solutions, inert fluids, steam, gases, hot water and salt solutions.
TP 003GR
Designed for static sealing applications, such as hand holes, manholes, and lids etc. It is suitable even under rough operating conditions like in steam hammers, reactors, steam valves etc. It can also be used in valves and low velocity equipments with high temperature and high pressure.
